When Molly approached me with the concept of a flexible tree, I had concerns about fit and durability issues. After learning more about the discipline of barrel racing, I can see the need for a flexible tree. I had to design a new bar pad on this tree to improve fit and covered the bars with rawhide to reinforce the tree. Unlike a treeless saddle, this saddle still has the support your horse needs with an even distribution of weight.
